A new star at the LOVESTREAM festival is Calum Scott

The nowadays British pop star, Calum Scott, will perform at the LOVESTRAM festival on the last day, on Sunday, JUNE 12, 2022. With an exceptional voice and authentic song texts, the singer has become worldwide well-known thanks to competition Britain’s Got Talent and earned the golden buzzer from Simon Cowell, the judge and producer.

„I have never heard anybody with such a talent like you has in the whole history of this show,” said Simon Cowell about Calum Scott in 2016. He continued: „Seriously. Your version of this song (note: Dancing on My Own) was just great, and it turned out that you are not only a singer, you are an artist. That’s why you got it (note: golden buzzer).“ Immediately after the show, Calum’s number of fans on social media increased by more than 25 thousand. In the past years, he has just proved his talent. Calum has been awarded several platin awards, got billions of combined streams worldwide, and belongs to high-class artists.

Certainly, Calum Scott will bring to the festival an unforgettable experience. “His emotions are authentic, and his ability to tell a story through music leaves a resonating message in every visitor,” concert reviews say. The British singer does not even shy away from letting his emotions out during the concert. There is nothing unusual to see him crying when singing. The inner conflicts that he composed, for instance, in the ballad If Our Love Is Wrong, he reflects in the live performance. What’s more, he can carry away the mass with his incredible pop tracks, like Give Me Something, when jumping on the stage and enjoying life.

In summer 2021, he released, recorded in collaboration with the Belgium artist Lost Frequencies, the hit Where Are You Now. Lost Frequencies will perform at the LOVESTREAM festival the day before. The track became a mega-hit for several months and earned more than 42,5 billion views on YouTube.

With announcing Calum Scott, the LOVESTREAM festival definitively confirms the status of the biggest music event in Slovakia in 2022. In Bratislava, at the NFS Tehelné pole, there will stars such as Red Hot Chili Peppers, Dua Lipa, Calum Scott, Lost Frequencies, Zoe Wees, Zara Larsson, and also top Slovak and Czech performers like IMT Smile, Lucie, Kryštof, Inekafe, Horkýže Slíže, No Name, Heľenine Oči or Čechomor, be performing during the three days on June 10 – 12. And there are not all the performers published yet. The organisers will announce the next name soon.
